Meet Mick Alvarez Flores

ACET, Inc., is delighted to introduce our new Graphic Designer Coordinator, Mick Alvarez Flores. Mick joined the team in June and brings a wealth of experience designing infographics, websites, and printed materials. She previously worked in Health Services for St. Cloud State University where she used graphic design to facilitate communication with many partnering organizations.

Mick is excited to put her passion for creating original visuals into ACET’s evaluation work. “As a graphic designer, anything that has more creative freedom excites me,” she says. Not only did Mick design ACET’s new logo, but she also designs flyers, videos, and webinar graphics. “I’ve been able to work with almost our whole team on various projects,” she says. “I love the aspect of helping so many communities get the information they need.”

While she is new to evaluation, Mick is thrilled to apply graphic design to project planning, from sampling to survey design. “I’ve always liked helping others,” she says. “So being part of the work ACET does means a lot to me.”

Mick holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from St. Cloud State University. She maintains an artistic practice in her personal life, and her work has received awards and appeared in galleries throughout Minnesota. She likes to explore new mediums, most recently ceramics and punch needle rugs.

Mick also loves her pets: two cats and a snail named Oaty. “I’m a huge animal lover,” she says. “And a big fan of joking around. The sound of laughter is one of my favorite things.”

ACET is excited to welcome Mick! Great to have you on the team!
